Who we are
MathQuest OS is an independent company based in Singapore. This notice covers the expression-of-interest form on this website and is written to meet the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Questions about it go to our Data Protection Officer, [Data Protection Officer name], at contact@mathquestos.ai.
What we collect, and why
At this stage we collect only what the form asks: a parent or guardian's name and email address, the child's school level in 2027, their competition experience, and an optional note. We use it for one purpose: to write to you about registration and founding-cohort pricing before public registration opens. We record when consent was given, and the browser used to submit the form, to protect the form against abuse.
We do not collect the child's name, school, date of birth, or phone number. Because we collect no phone numbers, we make no telephone calls and send no text messages, and the Do Not Call provisions of the PDPA are not engaged.
Consent
We collect these details only when you tick the consent box and submit the form. If you write to us first, we use your address to reply. We do not buy lists, and we do not add you to anything you did not ask for.
Children
The form is addressed to parents and guardians, and the consent it asks for is a parent's or guardian's. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 through this website. If we learn that we hold a child's personal data submitted without a parent's consent, we delete it.
Who sees it, and where it lives
Your details are stored with our database provider and handled by our email provider, both acting only on our instructions, and are seen only by the MathQuest OS team. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.
Our providers store data on servers that may be located outside Singapore. Where personal data leaves Singapore, we transfer it only to providers bound by contractual protections comparable to the PDPA, as the Act's transfer limitation obligation requires.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no advertising or analytics trackers and uses no third-party cookies. Anything stored in your browser exists only to make the site itself work.
How we protect it
Details travel to us encrypted, are stored in access-controlled systems, and are reachable only by people who need them to contact you about registration. We keep what we hold accurate by using exactly what you typed, and you can correct it at any time by writing to us.
How long we keep it
Until registration has opened and you have either registered or told us you are not interested, or for twelve months from your submission, whichever comes first. After that we delete it. If you withdraw consent earlier, we delete it then.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent, ask what we hold about you and how it has been used, or ask us to correct or delete it, at any time, by writing to our Data Protection Officer at contact@mathquestos.ai. We respond within thirty days. Withdrawing consent only means we stop contacting you and delete your details; there is no penalty of any kind.
If something goes wrong
If we ever discover a data breach affecting your details that is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires, without undue delay.
If you feel we have not handled your data properly and our answer has not satisfied you, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we will email the address you gave us before the change takes effect.
